Most voyage data stays on your phone. The app uses the network for MET Norway weather, map tiles and optional Strava export with your consent.

Safety — matter-of-fact
MOB, anchor watch and watch alarm help organise on board. They do not replace rescue procedures, VHF/GMDSS or certified equipment.

No — your phone is not an approved plotter. Enjoy the pocket bridge; for serious navigation use what the rules require on your vessel. You’re the captain — the app just helps.
